WITH TWO NEW STUDENT DRIVERS, WE'RE REQUESTING 110% TO ALLOW A FEW ADDITIONAL FEET IN EACH DIRECTION. WE'RE MOVING OUR ADDITIONAL SHED IN THIS DIRECTION, WOULD BRING THE COVERAGE CLOSER TO 100%. GIVEN OUR LOT SIZE, DENSE, MATURE TREES, AND WITH THE GARAGE SITTING 130 FEET FROM THE ROAD, OUR GOAL IS FOR THE DESIGN TO MATCH OUR HOME'S AESTHETIC AND BLEND INTO THE ENVIRONMENT.

THE VARIANCE REQUEST IS FOR EXCEEDING THAT REQUIREMENT FOR MAXIMUM 75% OF THE GROUND FLOOR AREA OF A PRINCIPLE BUILDING TO BE ALLOWED FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES OR USES AND 110% REQUESTED. AND THAT TOTAL PERCENT ACTUALLY ADDS IN THAT ATTACHED GARAGE SPACE AS WELL.

OUR UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE DOES STATE THAT AN APPLICATION FOR THE RENEWAL OF A SPECIAL EXCEPTION SHALL GENERALLY BE ENTITLED TO FAVORABLE CONSIDERATION, SO THAT IS WHAT PLANNING STAFF IS RECOMMENDING THIS EVENING. SOMEONE REPORTED A STRAY DOG IN THE AREA. AND THEN APRIL OF THIS YEAR, THERE WAS A 911 CALL TO -- FOR MEDICS TO ASSIST A 76-YEAR-OLD FEMALE WHO PASSED OUT. SO WE'RE ASSUMING MAYBE IT WAS A RENTER THAT STAYED THERE.

BUT OTHER THAN THAT, NO OTHER ISSUES. SO WE DO RECOMMEND POSITIVE CONSIDERATION OF THE REQUEST AS WELL AS THE ADOPTION OF THE FINDINGS OF FACT. THANK YOU.

WE ARE REQUESTING A VARIANCE FOR AN ATTACHED ROOF EXTENSION OFF OF THE HOME. THE CURRENT LOT HAS A 20-YARD SETBACK, SO WE'RE REQUESTING 13 DUE TO THE IRREGULAR NATURE OF THE LOT.
