SUBCOMMITTEE TO THE CRC MEETING. AND THE FIRST THING WE'RE GOING TO DO WAS WE'RE GOING TO DO APPROVAL OF MEETINGS, BUT WE'RE GOING TO DO THAT APPROVAL FOR THE JULY MEETING. THE LAST TIME WE HAD AN ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW WAS AT OUR DECEMBER CRC. WE DIDN'T HAVE A QUARTER RUM FOR THE SUBCOMMITTEE SO WE WENT AHEAD AND DEFERRED THE MEETING TO WITHIN THE CRC FOR THE WHOLE CRC TO PARTICIPATE. AND THOSE MINUTES ARE WITHIN THE MINUTES OF THE CRC. SO WE ARE APPROVING -- AND WE DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO APPROVE OBVIOUSLY THE JULY MEETINGS BECAUSE WE DIDN'T HAVE AFTER QUARTER RUM. SO I'LL ASK FOR A MOTION TO APPROVE THE JULY

>> THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. >> OKAY. SO THE NEXT THING ON THE AGENDA, WE DON'T HAVE ANY OLD BUSINESS, AND WE DO HAVE NEW BUSINESS. WE'RE GOING TO BE TALKING TODAY ABOUT THE CLUB, AND THAT'S LOCATED AT 12895 OLD STREET AND IT'S A 55 PLUS PROJECT WITH 193 UNITS AND A 321-SPACE PUBLIC PARKING GARAGE.

AND THIS GARAGE WILL ALSO SUPPORT THE NEW CCPR VETERANS PARK WHICH IS GOING TO BE DEVELOPED ADJACENT TO THIS PROJECT. I'VE GOT SAY IT'S REALLY COMING ALONG G. SO I'M GOING TO TURN IT OVER TO OUR SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, AND SHE'S GOING TO TALK TO US ABOUT IT.

>> THANK YOU, COMMISSIONER BROOKS. THAT WAS A GREAT INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT. YOU HIT ALL OF THE HIGH POINTS. AS YOU CAN SEE HERE THIS IS THE PROJECT LOCATION ALONG OLD MERIDIAN STREET. AGAIN, IT'S A 55-PLUS SENIOR ACTIVE LIVING COMMUNITY. WE HAVE WORKED VERY CLOSE WITH THE DEVELOPER AS WELL AS THEIR ARCHITECTS TO BRING THIS FINAL PRODUCT -- OR ALMOST FINAL PRODUCT TO YOU TODAY. WE'RE VERY PLEASED WITH HOW IT'S TURNED OUT. AND WE THINK THAT IT WILL HAVE A GREAT PRESENCE ALONG OLD MERIDIAN STREET AND NEXT TO THE VETS -- THE VFW AND THE PARK. SO WE'LL JUST GO THROUGH A COUPLE OF THE RENDERINGS. HERE IS THE FRONT ENTRANCE TO THE PARKING GARAGE.

THE VIEW ALONG OLD MERIDIAN. HERE'S AN AERIAL SHOT WHERE YOU CAN SEE A PARK THAT PART OF THE PARCEL WILL BE USED FOR A PARK THAT WILL BE DEVELOPED BY CARMEL PARKS & RECREATION. AND THEN HERE'S A CLOSE-UP OF THAT PARK. AND THEN THERE IS A FIRE LANE ALONG THE SIDE OF THE PROJECT THAT ALSO DOUBLES AS A WALKWAY FOR ACCESS TO THE PARK. AND IT'S A CONNECTION TO THE VFW.

HERE'S A SITE PLAN, AND ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE'RE REQUESTING HERE IS THAT THEY CONSIDER ADDING ADDITIONAL STREET TREES TO THIS SEGMENT RIGHT HERE. HERE'S THE BOTTOM FLOOR PLAN OF THE GARAGE, AND HERE'S THE MAIN FLOOR OF THE PARKING GARAGE, AND WE'VE JUST ASKED THEM IF THEY COULD RELOCATE THE PUBLIC RESTROOMS TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER TO MAKE ACCESS FROM THE VFW A LITTLE BIT EASIER, AND THEY'RE WORKING ON THAT. HERE ARE THE FLOOR PLANS OF THE UNITS. AND THEN

RENDERINGS. AND THEN WE JUST HAVE A FEW COMMENTS THAT WE BELIEVE CAN BE WORKED THROUGH DURING THE ADLS PROCESS, AND I WILL GO OVER SOME OF THOSE WITH YOU NOW. JUST A STANDARD COMMENT, JUST MAKE SURE THAT THE PARKING GARAGE IS PROPERLY SIGNED, AS WELL AS THE PUBLIC RESTROOMS HERE. WORK WITH CARMEL IT TO REVIEW CAMERAS. WORK WITH OUR TEAM DURING CONSTRUCTION TO MAKE SURE THAT THE GARAGE SCREENING IS APPROPRIATE. AND THE OTHER BIGGEST COMMENT IS THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH THE ARCHITECTURE TEAM TO SEE IF THEY COULD ADD ADDITIONAL BRICK TO THE FRONT AND REAR FACADES. AND THEN WE HAVE ANOTHER NOTE JUST BECAUSE THIS PROJECT IS INCLUDING A PARK THAT THEY COORDINATE THE PRIVATE TEAM COORDINATES WITH THE CITY OF CARMEL CRC AND THE PARK STAFF AS THAT PROJECT PROGRESSES. THEY HAD AN INITIAL KICKOFF. THEY HAVE A VETERAN STEERING COMMITTEE THAT THEY HAVE FORMED, SO ALL THOSE THINGS ARE VERY MUCH MOVING FORWARD.
