OBVIOUSLY, AS JANEL POINTED OUT WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF GETTING THE NEW CIVIC SQUARE GARAGE RFP.

MOVING FORWARD AND SELECTED. FTC THE HOLLAND BUILDING IN CIVIC CENTER IS MOVING RIGHT ALONG.

THIS MONTH SHOULD BE OPENING UP REALLY SOME GREAT PROGRESS SHOULD BE MADE THERE. WE HAVE -- THE KENT BUILDING IS NOW LEASING. PERSINIUM IS MOVING FORWARD AS WELL. THEY NOW HAVE THE GREEN GRASS UP IN THE CENTRAL PARK AREA OF IT AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THE PROPOSALS FOR THE TAVERN ON THE GREEN THAT'S GOING TO BE LAST AND FINAL PART OF THAT PROJECT.

MELANGE IS DOING REALLY WELL. I HEARD TWO WEEKS AGO I THINK THEY HAD 12 UNITS ALREADY SOLD. SO IT'S -- THOSE ARE FLYING OFF THE SHELVES IF YOU WILL. LOT 1, WE HOPE TO HAVE SOME ARCHITECTURE PRESENTED IN FRONT OF THE ARCHITECTURE REVIEW COMMITTEE FAIRLY SOON. AND DEMO IS EXPECTED TO START IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO. MAGNOLIA HAS STARTED CONSTRUCTION ON ITS FIRST STACKED FLAT UNITS AND THE CORNER IS REALLY CLOSE TO RECEIVING THEIR CONSTRUCTION PERMITS. WE'RE JUST FINALIZING SOME FINAL DETAILS. AND THEN WE SHOULD PROBABLY SEE CONSTRUCTION BEGIN THERE, REALLY IT WILL BE MORE NEXT YEAR.

FRANCISCAN IS MOVING FORWARD AS WELL AND ZOTECH IF THEY AREN'T OPEN YET THEY ARE REALLY CLOSE TO BEING OPEN.

AND FINALLY THE SIGNATURE PROJECT IS ALSO MOVING TOWARDS GETTING ALL THEIR BUILDING APPROVALS AS WELL SO THAT SHOULD START SOON. DESIGN IS ONGOING FOR THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY PROJECT, THE CRC IS ASSISTING WHERE.

AND THERE IS AN OLD SLIDE BUT THIS DID OPEN IN LATE AUGUST.

THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE DID MEET ON AUGUST 30TH AND AT THAT MEETING, WE APPROVED THE UPDATED PLANS AND ELEVATIONS FOR THE CARMEL CITY CENTER RENTON BUILDING AND THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SEENT LETTER TO JIM WALLS ADVISING HIM OF THE SAME. SO WE HAVE APPROVED THE WRENN BUILDING AND THAT'S ALL MY REPORT.

THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION HAS ALWAYS WORKED WITH OUR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TEAMMATES AND COMRADES AND JUST LIKE IT WAS THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION THAT PROVIDE ALL THE STARTUP FUNDS FOR THE ICE RINK INITIALLY AND THE CHRISTIANO MARKET AND THE PROJECT THAT L FUNDED THE HUTS THIS IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION'S MISSION AS WE TRY TO CONTINUE MAKING CARMEL A CITY TO EXPERIENCE.

HERE THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT HAS LED ON THE WINTER PAVILION PROJECT AND IS ASKS THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR A TINY CONTRIBUTION TO IT. THE KIND UFS PROJECT WE SHOULD SUPPORT. WITH THAT I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NANCY HECK TO

WE ARE CREATING A WINTER PARCHL AT THE CARTER GREEN SPACE AND WE'RE HERE TO ASK FOR A CONTRIBUTION TO THAT EFFORT.

AND DUE TO THE ACTIVITIES OF LAST WEEK I JUST WANTED TO CLARIFY A FEW THINGS BEFORE I GET STARTED.

NUMBER 1 IS THAT THIS WINTER PAVILION IS INDEPENDENT OF THE MONAN EXPANSION FLOOJT INCLUDED A GROUND LEVEL STAGE.

SO THIS DID NOT INITIATE THAT AND IT CAN STAND ALONE WITH OR WITHOUT THAT. SO IT LITERALLY ALL WE HAD TO DO WITH THE PLACEMENT OF THE PAVILION IS ROTATE ITS SPACE.

AND SO INSTEAD OF GOING AS AN EAST-WEST PAVILION IT IS NOW RUNNING NORTH-SOUTH BETWEEN THE PAVERS, IT ENDS UP BEING A MUCH BETTER PROGRAMMABLE SPACE AND I'LL SHOW YOU WHY THAT WORKS BETTER THIS WAY. AS A REMINDER OF WHY WE'RE DOING THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT WE HAD WHICH WAS A MOBILE STAGE AND YOU'VE SEEN IT AT LATE NIGHT ON MAIN AND EVENTS HERE. IT CREATES A 40 FOOT WIDE BARRIER 15, 16 FEET HIGH ACROSS THAT SPACE.

SO NONE OF THE REDWOOD IS NEW, IT IS OLD GROWTH, THEY CREATE SPACES WHERE THEY REFOREST AREAS AND THEY ARE VERY CAREFUL WHERE THEY HEADQ HARVEST WHEN THEY DO.

THE STRUCTURE WILL BE 34 BY 70 FEET.

WE HAVE ADDED HIGH WIND ANCHORS BECAUSE ANYONE WHO HARKENS BACK TO A TENT PRIOR TO THE OPENING OF A PARTICULAR VENUE REMEMBERS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN INDIANA WEATHER COMES THROUGH.

WE HAVE ADDED THESE COLORS AND THE MOST ROBUST ANCHORS AS WE CAN. THE HEIGHT OF THE VENUE OR THE PAVILION, THEY'RE 12 FEET. SO RIGHT THERE AT THE BASE OF THE ROOF LINE IS 12 FEET AND THE PEAK OF THE ROOF LINE IS AROUND 20, 21 FEET, THE GLUE VINE TOWER IS 20ISH, SO THERE WILL BE PART OF THE GLUEVINE TOWER VISIBLE ABOVE THIS STRUCTURE.

THERE IS THE GOOD SCALING AND WITH THE HOTEL BEING THE FLOORS THAT IT IS ABOVE THAT PLAZA LEVEL THERE WILL BE A VERY GOOD SITE SIGHT VISTA EVERY TO THE MARKET AND WHAT'S GOING ON THERE. I WANTED TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE INSIDE THE PAVILION.

WE HAVE A LIGHTING SCHEME I'LL SHOW YOU LATER, THE BEAUTY OF THE REDWOODS AND THE STRUCTURE ITSELF.

THIS IS THE NEW LAYOUT FOR WHERE THE PAVILION WILL BE PLACED.

SO THIS IS AS IF THE CHRIS KINDLE MARKET IS SET UP.

OBVIOUSLY WHAT YOU SEE IS THE ICE RINK AT THE END OF THE MARKET HERE. SORRY THIS IS A VERY WEAK LITTLE POINTER BUT THERE IS THE ICE RINK.

THAT IS GLUEVINE TOWER RIGHT THERE AND THIS IS THE PAVILION HERE. WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT IS A FLOOR PLAN NOT A ROOF LINE SO IT'S NOT MEANT TO BE CULT OUT RIGHT THERE, THAT IS WHERE THE STAGE WILL BE BUT THIS IS THE PAVILION ITSELF. THE 34 BY 70 FOOT.

THE ROTARY AMPHITHEATER STAYS IN PLACE AND IT DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH ANYTHING. IN THE PAST NOTHING REALLY HAPPENED THERE BECAUSE IT'S UNUSABLE FOR THIS VENUE AT THIS TIME. SO THAT'S WHERE I JUST WANT TO GIVE YOU A PLACE IN TIME WHERE IT WAS SO YOU COULD SEE WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE WHERE THE PAVILION WILL BE.

THE OTHER THING I WANTED TO POINT OUT IS I'LL MOVE TO THE NEXT SCREEN. TURNING THIS NORTH-SOUTH ALLOWS IT TO FIT SO WELL IN THE SPACE THAT THE RAMPS GO STRAIGHT FROM THE PAVER LEVEL UP TO THE DECKING.

AND I WILL GO AHEAD AND START DESCRIBING SOME OF THE ELEMENTS THAT WE WILL BE USING THESE FUNDS FOR.

ONE OF THEM IS THE FLOORING. ANYONE WHO'S VISITED THE MARKET ALSO KNOWS THAT IT BECOMES QUITE MUDDY AND ALMOST HARD TO TRAVERSE WHEN YOU GET THERE. WE HAVE A STEEL FRAME UPON WHICH PLANK WILL BE LAID SO IT'S MORE LIKE A DOCK OR A DECK OR THAT KIND OF THING SO YOU WILL BE WALKING ON WOOD THAT IS ELEVATED ABOVE THE GROUND A FEW INCHES WHICH IS WHY WE NEED THE RAMP TO GO FROM THE PAVER LEVEL UP TO THE DECKING SO IT WILL BE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE IN THAT AREA.

AND THEN WE WILL WORK, YOU KNOW, WITH OUR STAFF TO FIGURE OUT WHERE WE WANT TO PUT OUR ICE IGLOOS BECAUSE THOSE WILL GO UP, A VERY POPULAR PART OF THE ICE AFTER THE CHRIS CRING RVETIONL EVENT IS DONE.

AFTER THE CHRIS KINDLE MARKET WAS DONE, IF YOU LOOK AT WHERE

SO AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, SITTING IN THE PAVILION WITH THE STAGE HERE YOUR BACKDROP DPLOW IS, NOW OBVIOUSLY IT'S NOT ROCKEFELLER PLAZA BUT IT WILL BE A BEAUTIFUL LIT TREES WITH STREAMERS COMING DOWN OF LIGHTS WHICH MAKES THE TREE APPEAR BIGGER. AND THEN IF, DEPENDING ON HOW THIS ALL FITS, HOW BIG THE TREE BASE IS AND THINGS, THERE COULD BE SEASONAL OTHER CHAIRS THAT ARE PLACED DOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TREE AND PEOPLE COULD JUST SIT THERE AND ENJOY FOOD THAT THEY HAD OUT IN THE OPEN FRESH AIR IF THEY CHOOSE TO UNDER A CANOPY OF LIGHTS. THIS HELPS US ENGAGE THIS EAST END A GREAT DEAL. THE FLOORING IS PART OF WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR THE MONEY FOR. THEY HAVE THE ABILITY TO STAMP, PRINT BASICALLY A PATTERN ON THAT CANVAS. WE ARE GOING TO CHOOSE EITHER BETWEEN WOODEN SHINGLES OR SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE SLATE.

SO WE HAVE HAD BARREL TABLES WITH A TOP PUT ON IT AND THEN THESE CHRISTMAS TREES ARE VERY CLEVER, THEY ARE SLOTS THAT GO TOGETHER AND A TOP THAT SLIDES DOWN OVER THE TOP BUT AGAIN IT'S ELEMENTS THAT WHEN YOU PLACE THOSE NEAR THE ENTRANCES IT MAKES IT APPEAR AS IF THE IT'S A MORE KIND OF THEMED VENUE.
